Play Piano by Ear!
By Kevin | March 18, 2008
As this is the very first review on music-instrument-lessons.info I thought we’d start with one of the most popular piano courses that has been on the internet almost since its very beginning.
Jermaine Grigg’s Hear And Play piano course has helped over 200,000 musicians get started learning the piano… All by ear!
This is an incredible story, and has brought the joy of music to so many people who wouldn’t otherwise have had the opportunity to play, simply because they never learned to read!
The 300 page course is packed full of everything you need.. from playing simple melodies to accompanying yourself or singers with chord progressions.
I’m a professional musician, and I play classical piano, but I’ve still found enormous value from working through some of Jermaines Exercises. You’ll learn heaps just by watching sample videos at hearandplay.com so I really do advise checking out what he has to offer.
There is heaps of options including not only the original 300 page course, but a huge amount of DVD learning courses, featuring gospel music and jazz styles.
